Music is a big part of my life, family as well. Food too. Magazines and zines can also be really great. My girlfriend and I enjoy going to barnes and noble or any other big book bookstore and just sitting around on a lazy sunday reading all the neat magazines.
Describe your process for creating a new piece.
Well I guess with a collage I like to go out to thrift stores and get papers and photographs and stuff to start a project but I might not end up using something I get that day for months. As far as photography, I have carried a camera with me almost everday for the past few years, ready for whatever might strike my fancy.
I worked at my family's restaurant starting as a busboy and working my way up to cook for the past 8 years back in my hometown of Albuquerque, NM. I'm now flexing my customer service skills at the best frozen yogurt shop in the bay. It's on Market between New Montgomery and 3rd. Come in and say hi! I have tried to get jobs at book and arty places but I always end up working with food.
Best thing that happened to you this week?
Making my first gocco. I have been wanting one for forever and recently my bank sent me a credit card with a 0% apr for the first year so I said F it and bought one. So easy and the results are pretty stunning. Worst thing that happened was I spent way too much moola on a gyro at the Crocker Galleria. It sucked bad. Anyone know a good fast place to eat in that area during a half hour lunch break?

I'm currently collecting images for a photo-zine that will be published by Kaugummi Books. It will be called "Waddles". Other than that I'm just going to be taking more pictures and making more pictures and posting them on my website for the world to see.
